In 1986 my family moved to a home in the country outside of Joshua and I began attending Joshua High School. I was active in band and journalism and graduated in 1990. After attending Midwestern State University I went to work in my family's business in the plastics industry before starting my own I.T. services company, Accelinet, in 1997. I continue to operate my business today from my home office in Mountain Valley.

I met my beautiful wife, Erika, in 1999 and we were married in 2000. In 2003 our first son, Alex, was born and in 2007 we adopted our second son, Ayson. Erika does not work outside the home so we stay quite busy with two active little boys and most evenings you'll find us playing outside. Family time is extremely important to us so we're very blessed to have businesses that allow for such time. This too will be an asset in time that needs to be spent on city business. The only thing in this life more important to me than my family is my faith and we attend Pantego Bible Church in Fort Worth.
